Fabric and Supplies
Yesterday I had the opportunity to bolt loose yards of fabric. I found a very great idea to bolt them on pieces of foamboard. It was a GREAT idea. It is much easier to organize tamed yards of fabric.
I also discovered a box of old sewing supplies loaded with LOTS of goodies!

Fly Nerd Kids
I recruited my nephews for some photo fun in my Fly Nerd & Panda shirts. I had to constantly bribe them with a "special treat" to get any smiles out of them. The little one was determined to give the mean face in every photo. It was an interesting experience but we got some halfway decent pics out of it. They are quite the characters.

New Shirts
This spread of tees are from the Beat Da Heat event last weekend at Genesis Bible Fellowship Church. It was event that featured local gospel musical artists, food, games and a caricature artist. Despite the rain, it was a great event. I featured some new t-shirt designs including the "Fearfully Wonderfully Made" tee and an exclusive "Beat Da Heat" tee.

Prom Dress in Action
This is one of the prom dresses I made earlier this year. I just received some pictures of my client, Simone, in the gown... The look is darling in my eyes... For my first round of official prom dresses, I did well.

Sometimes I Paint
Occasionally, I like to play around with acrylic paint. Nothing serious... just experiment with color and application. Still working on a few of these but The colors brighten things up a bit.

Transformed
Last week, I spent most of my time printing t-shirts for URBIN Ministry's Youth Choir. The shirts are designed and printed by yours truly.

The Flea Market
The flea market at Glenmount Elementary went well. It wasn't a huge event but considering the size we got a nice amount of traffic thanks to FB. Here are some of the shirt designs...

From Frumpy to FAB
This is my plain Jane computer table from Ikea. It's a few years old and has acquired some water swelling spots. I was just tired of looking at the God awful spots... So I had a bright idea to do a little collage and resin project. The first layer of resin absorbed into some of the images and did not completely cover the table. The second layer still stained some of the images (because I didnt seal it well enough) but it completely covered the table. Overall, I'm happy with the end product.
